The anonymous manuscript
The Clinical Teacher uses a system of double-blind review. All offers to publish are subject to the outcome of the peer review process. Your manuscript for review should therefore not contain any details which could identify the authors to the reviewers. In to understand our review process it may help you to download our guidelines for reviewers

Manuscripts should not exceed 1,500 words with a maximum of ten suggestions for further reading. The manuscript should be double-spaced with a wide margin (at least 3 cm) on either side. The writing should be clear and concise and we encourage the use of short sentences and the active voice. Figures, boxes, tables and images are a feature of The Clinical Teacher and there is room for at least one of these per 350 words of text. Any material copied from other sources must be accompanied by a written statement from both author and publisher giving permission for reproduction in both print and electronic digital form. High quality digital images should be uploaded as separate files.
References and suggestions for further reading should be set out according to the format recommended by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (Vancouver Guidelines). We advise authors to retain a copy of the manuscript and any tables or figures.

Every manuscript should have a cover sheet. A template for this is available from the journal's website. The cover sheet should contain the title of the paper and the name(s), postal address(es) and email address(es) of the author(s), and an indication of which author should be contacted for correspondence.
Details of any conflicts of interest and sources of funding should be supplied. When reporting research on human subjects, the work must comply with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (1964), and authors must confirm, where appropriate, that informed consent was given. Authors must also disclose any commercial or other associations that might pose a conflict of interest in connection with their article.
